Limestone

10mm crusher run

Most commonly used as a free draining base layer for pathways, roadways and under concrete.

10mm clean stone

Can be used as a decorative aggregate in gardens and on driveways.

20mm crusher run

It is an ideal sub-base for areas that don’t intend to suffer heavy traffic e.g. patios, paths, block paving and walking areas. Can also be used as a topper for driveways that already have a base. Very easy to use and is suitable for commercial and domestic use.

20mm clean stone

20mm Limestone is an ideal decorative stone any landscaping project but is mainly used for larger projects as material for ground cover and borders.

40mm crusher run

40mm crushed limestone incorporates smaller crushed particles to aid compaction.
Used under paths / driveways as sub base material.

40mm clean stone

Mainly used a sub-base for roads, paths and as drainage fill for ditches and soak-aways. Its coarse nature makes it a very good all in one product which when compacted forms a hard wearing but well drained surface.

MOT type 1

Department of transport approved crushed limestone for use under road surfaces.
Use under roads / paths / driveways as sub base material.

Sand

Red building sand

Red Building Sand can be used in various building applications typically for mortar mix. Used with cement to produce mortar.

Grey building sand

Our Grey Building Sand is ideal for brick and blockwork.
Appears orange/red in colour but when dried in mortar it is grey.

Sharp sand

Sharp sand is a coarse, sharp sand suitable for all general building use, bedding paving slabs and driveway block paving.

10mm ballast

A blend of grit sand and coarse aggregate which is used for mixing concrete.

20mm ballast

A blend of grit sand and coarse aggregate which is used for mixing concrete.

Grit sand

Grit sand is an essential component of a concrete mix, used for a variety of purposes including bedding block paving and cementitious renders.

Recycled Aggregates

10mm washed pipe beddings.

Sub-base or drainage layer. They can be used as a decorative aggregate in gardens and on driveways.

20mm washed pipe beddings.

Sub-base or drainage layer. They can be used as a decorative aggregate in gardens and on driveways.

40mm washed hardcore.

Sub-base or drainage layer. They can be used as a decorative aggregate in gardens and on driveways.

75mm washed hardcore.

Sub-base or drainage layer. They can be used as a decorative aggregate in gardens and on driveways.

Dry Recycled Aggregates

6F5 (6F2).

Mainly used a sub-base for roads and buildings although it has many other uses such as Piling Mats and general backfill.
6F2 is ideal as an initial layer of hardcore before being finished off with a layer of type 1 sized material.

Tarmac planings.

Resulting waste product from road resurfacing used for hard standings, building sub-bases and farm tracks.

Cotswold cream

Honeyed Cotswold cream coloured stone chippings.
Used for drives and pathways and in gardens

Grey slate

Traditional Blue Welsh slate (crushed)
Used for drives and pathways and in gardens.

Green slate

Green Cumbrian slate (crushed).
Used for drives and pathways and in gardens.

Buxton grey

Grey coloured stone chippings.
Usesd for drives and pathways and in gardens

Plum slate

Rich plum Welsh slate (crushed).
Used for drives and pathways and in gardens.

Cobbles

Large rounded cobble stones.
Decorative use in gardens.

10mm golden gravel

Golden coloured Flint gravel.
Used for drives and pathways and in gardens.

20mm golden gravel

10mm quartz gravel

Used in pipe bedding and fine contrete mixes, also ideal for decorative driveways and landscape gardens for groundcover.
